Please note all these have white borders on top of the sizes stated below where I hand sign and Title these below. Also all the Thin versions are only in one size… These are available in sizes A5, A4 and A3. Most are available in A2 sizes, again if any questions please feel free to contact myself. All sizes vary to keep the images in proportion to the original so there is no distorting, either the long or short side is to the size of the A size.

'Soft White Cotton Fine Art Paper 280gsm' The French word "giclée" is a feminine noun that means a spray or a squirt of liquid. The word may have been derived from the French verb "gicler" meaning "to squirt". Giclée print images are generated from high resolution digital scans or photographs and printed with archival quality inks onto various media including canvas, fine art paper and specialist photographic papers. The Giclée printing process provides a better colour accuracy than any other means of reproduction. Giclée prints are created using professional colour ink-jet printers, such as 12 colour Canon Machines etc. These modern technology printers are capable of producing incredibly detailed prints for both the fine art and photographic markets. The quality of the Giclée print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatine printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries and photographic galleries.

The Fine Art Trade Guild has set a minimum standards for a Giclée print in that it must score 6 or greater on the Blue Wool Scale for light fastness and be between 7pH – 10pH, on a minimum substrate of 250gsm in weight.

'Soft White Cotton Fine Art Paper 280gsm'

The Giclée prints are produced on a 280gsm high quality Fine Art Paper which has 25% cotton content; It is made of 25% cotton linters and 75% Alpha Cellulose. It has a "soft" slightly textured surface which has a special matte coating, designed for high quality fine art reproduction and print applications with giclée technology. This Fine Art Paper is acid free paper, archival quality and meets The Fine Art Trade Guild standards. The reproduction prints on this paper will not fade in sunlight and will last 75 – 100 years.

Canvas details;
Canvas 340gsm….

The Canvas is a Fine Art Matte canvas, it is a natural white material with a textured traditional woven surface which makes it ideal for the reproduction of artworks where the surface of the canvas will be used to enhance the work. It is polycotton and archival quality meeting The Fine Art Trade Guild standards. After printing the canvas is protected by a pH neutral varnish to seal the surface and extend the UV resistance. The canvas is stretched onto a 30mm deep wooden stretcher with the image around the sides (gallery wrapped). The canvas is taped and finished on the back with hanging cord ready to hang.
